The humanity group is a NGO group founded in 2008 as a self-help group Sangetser Seva Samiti. In the initial years, it started its works by distributing clothes from donors to the needy ones in the remotest villages of Tawang.

In 2013, it changed itself into a society under the societies act in 2015. It spread its work towards the earthquake victims of Nepal in 2015, it organises yearly Winter Cloth Bank, provides free medical camps to the downtrodden people.
